As many of you may know, our sweet little Audrey is almost a year old! In the last few months her personality has really started to show. She is a very happy, easy going baby. There are so many things that she has learned to do and say lately, it is amazing to see her grow. James and I went on a camping trip with some friends a few weeks ago and Audrey spent the weekend with Amma Elaine (they had a great time together). Right before we left Audrey took her first steps! I was only a few, but she did it all by herself. Also, she's finally got two teeth (on the bottom)!
After months, and months of only saying "Da-Da", she finally has started to say "Ma-Ma". She also says "Pup-Pup" when she sees a dog (or a cat), and calls her teddy bears "Ba-Ba". A friend told me that she is at the perfect age to learn how to use sign language to communicate what she wants to us. So we have decided to teach her a few signs; eat, drink, more, and milk. I started signing them to her today and she was watching me intently. We will see how it goes, if she picks it up we will keep adding more signs.

Baby Signing Time DVDs are great for learning, and for some reason really interesting to the kids! She is adorable, Ashley. You are a good mom <3
